Last night the family headed to Aviator Arena in Brooklyn to watch the NY Riveters vs CT Whale hockey game. Our children’s own hockey game schedules are so busy that we don’t usually have time to catch the Sunday night game, but the holiday’s gave us a reprieve from the regular rigor of practice and game. As always, my time is tight so I can’t afford to wander the city visiting the multitude of holiday markets that pop up at this time of year. There are so many – 8th Avenue Holiday Market, Gifted Holiday Market on E.4th, Grand Central Holiday Fair … and they’re unique and special in their own way.
