PS166 Fall Festival, October 21

This parent-run festival and Friends of PS 166 fundraiser will feature tons of old-fashioned fun for the whole family: live music and entertainment, carnival games, raffles, prizes and giveaways, entertainers, a costume contest and Haunted House, the beloved Cake Walk, and yummy food!

30th Annual Queens County Fair

Join a traditional county fair with Blue Ribbon competitions* in produce, livestock, arts & crafts and more. Enjoy the Amazing Maize Maze, pie-eating and corn-husking contests, pig-racing, hayrides, carnival rides and midway. Visit the Bavarian Garden, hear an Irish band (Saturday) & German band (Sunday), and visit craft and food vendors. Give your family an experience they won’t forget!

*Competition applications available in the Queens Farm Welcome Center.

What’s better than a spooktacular event for the whole family?  One that’s FREE!

On Saturday, October 29, NYC Parks will host Pumpkin Festival in Central Park, an annual event that celebrates the fall harvest season. Pumpkin Festival will feature a ghoulishly scary ‘Fright Night at the Movies’ Haunted House, our popular Pumpkin Patch (can you say free pumpkins?!), and pumpkin decorating courtesy of Syfy and Dodge.  Other activities will include:
