Winter is Here. Snow is coming. 

Winter is here and we can soon expect snowfall. 

According to the NYC Administrative Code, every owner, lessee, tenant, occupant or other person having charge of any lot or building must clean snow and ice from the sidewalks adjacent (i.e., in front of, on the side of, in back of) to their properties. 

And as you could surmise, there are rules around that snow removal. 

Here is a friendly reminder for businesses, property managers, homeowners, and residents on snow removal guidelines. 

Digging Out After the Snowstorm Jonas

If you park on the street in New York City, like we do, you will eventually have to dig out your car after a snow storm. Although the city has suspended alternate side of the street rules until Monday, February 1st, allowing you the week to let nature do some of the work, if you want to use your car during the week, you gotta dig.
